The Beverly Hills Bridal ExChange will celebrate its grand opening on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The boutique is southern California's only consignment store that specializes exclusively in bridal gowns, bridal accessories and formal evening attire for women. Offering new, sample and once-wed designer wedding and special occasion gowns at unbelievable savings allows every woman to look like the bride she dreamed of being while saving hundreds of dollars and being eco-friendly.
The world of fashion is stylish, glamorous and exciting, but its impact on the environment is worsening day by day. Most wedding and special occasion gowns contain polyester, elastane or Lycra, which are widely used in the textile industry's miracle solution. However, the manufacturing of these materials create pollution and are hard to recycle. Michele Donaldson, Owner of The Beverly Hills Bridal ExChange, said "Offering women the opportunity to participate in the recycling effort, purchase high end bridal fashions, and saving up to fifty percent or more off retail prices is a winning combination."
In conjunction with the launch of the new Lakeside Pavilion at Dos Lagos, the Beverly Hills Bridal ExChange grand opening will host a free bridal fashion show from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Dos Lagos Amphitheater featuring gowns by designers' Manuel Mota for Pronovias, Casablanca, Monique Lhullier, Jane Wang, Alexis Georgio and many more. In addition, Barbara Coolidge Tibbetts, Fashion Consultant, Entrepreneur and Author of I Want My Mother's Dress to Match the Napkin, will be available for a book signing session from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by a seminar featuring funny stories and serious advice about survival tactics for the mother of the bride or groom from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
