Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), a premier Fashion and Design institute in the country has organized a seminar for its final year students named “SYNTHESIS 2010” at New Delhi recently.
In this seminar two best chosen students from their respective courses showcased their project presentations. For this event students are provided with their concerned topics to give detailed presentation.
The seminar aimed to give an opportunity to the students to do a review about their concerned course works and fashion industry; they can add more related information with them among the help of their course mates participated in the same event. Students of both under graduate and post graduate level have taken active participation in this seminar.
There were many interested topics like, “A study on selling craft product- through organized retail setup” , “Application of industrial engineering tools and techniques in frame sequin and bead embroidery”, “multi brand Outlets vs. exclusive brand outlet”, “new ways to Retail Vending machines”, “analysis on adaptive garments for Paraplegics”, “Marketing to the gay community”, “aspiring class seeking fashion at value price”, “Packaging of FMCG products affects consumer buying behavior”, have been provided to the students so as they can conduct a deep research and come up with various updated technologies, future prospect and get the required information on how this industry and its systems are evolving day by day.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A. K. G. Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion, said, “Behind conducting this seminar, our aim was to create an environment for our students where they can revise their course study and get more information about contemporary Fashion Industry and its different procedures”.
