Istanbul Fashion Fair, for which the fashion industry impatiently waits and which gathers hundreds of brands in pret-a-porter and confection sectors with procurement groups coming from all over the world, will be held at CNR Expo Exhibition Center between 26th and 28th August.
One of the most important export fairs of Turkey where brands will display their 2011 collections, the fair this year especially attracts large scale foreign companies which will come for confection, fabric, tricot, denim and accessory purchases. Authorities from El Corte Igles, which is a famous store serving at Spain's greatest shopping malls, as well as Hommes & Co from France and Egydress from Egypt, are among those who will be purchasing knitwear products during the fair.
Demonstrating a 35% growth compared to the previous year, the fair attracts strong attention from European companies targeting Turkish, Russian and Middle Eastern buyers. During the fair, participants from countries such as Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Poland and France will display their products and get in contact with their target buyers from Russian and Middle Eastern markets.
Companies from Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Dubai, France, Germany, Greece, Spain and Switzerland, which will participate in Istanbul Fashion Fair with their procurement missions, are interested in tricot, denim, men's/women's/children's confection, beachwear, underwear, accessories, textile and fabrics. The companies that come for procurement include Imex Export Ltd/Victoria Unique Ltd, Nature Planet, Taresh Trading, Hommes & Co, Maximum Gmbh&Co Kg, Palm Textiles Sa, Difusion Moda International S.L., Altena-sa, Difusion Moda International S.L., and Divage International Srl-Adolfo Dominguez.
Held since 1994 by CNR and once again getting ready to gather the world of fashion under a single roof, Istanbul Fashion Fair is being held on a 12,000 m2 area this year. The fair is expected to attract 10,000 visitors.
