The designer is famous for developing pop queen Madonna's conical bra for her 1990 Blonde Ambition Tour. He had also created the pop star’s wardrobe for her 2006 Confessions Tour.
Gaultier, who made his initial designs for his stuffed toys, had recently unveiled a display of his work at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in Canada.
The new lingerie collection will be available at Jean-Paul Gaultier and La Perla boutiques all over the world.
