USA:Recording Academy previews Grammy Label fashion line

The Recording Academy — the preeminent music organization renowned for the GRAMMY Awards — announced that it will continue to extend its musical message year-round with the spring/summer 2010 debut of Grammy Label, a luxury lifestyle apparel brand for men and women.

The contemporary sportswear fashion collection received a refreshed look, courtesy of a newly consolidated design direction, and will be previewed at the Coterie New York (Sept. 22-24) fashion trade shows. The line of coordinated modern separates for spring/summer 2010 includes premium denim and its related categories.

Whether it's onstage, offstage or backstage, Grammy Label celebrates the unique intersection of fashion and music, and is inspired by the energy and emotion of the GRAMMY Awards. Grammy Label not only looks good, it does good: A portion of sales will help keep music alive by supporting The Academy's charities, the GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares.

Grammy Label will be housed in the following showrooms: Work in Progress/Cohen Showroom, Inc. in Los Angeles, Work/Shop Showroom/Cohen Showroom, Inc. in New York City and Maiesta Co., Ltd. in Japan.
