During their training the students were oriented towards various facets, techniques and aspects of the Indian textile, apparel and retail industry. They were exposed to a wide variety of issues ranging from how the retail sector is evolving in India to the unique aspects of merchandising, production management, fashion trends and textile surface treatment techniques. To supplement their knowledge they were also taken on various field trips that enhanced their perspective of the uniqueness of the Indian textile, apparel and retail industry.
