UK:DHL expands partnership with LFW

 


DHL, the world’s leading logistics service provider, has expandedits partnership with fashion weeks around the world to include the prestigious London Fashion Week, to be held from 18 - 23 September 2009.

DHL is already the official logistics partner of the series of high profile fashion weeks in ten leading cities around the world, including New York, Milan and Sydney. Since September 2008, the company has also supported Fashion Fringe at Covent Garden, a platform which aims to find and nurture undiscovered British designers and is part of the official London Fashion Week calendar.

DHL’s support of London Fashion Week is part of its commitment to the British fashion, apparel and retail industries, with whom successful relationships have been long established. The company covers all the logistics requirements of the fashion industry, managing everything from materials procurement, sample production, domestic and international transportation to warehousing and distribution – be it to store or the customer’s door. This expertise, together with DHL’s global reach, has seen it maintain successful partnerships with many of the industry’s well known fashion labels and sportswear giants as well as emerging brands.

Other cities where DHL sponsor fashion week events include Milan, New York, Toronto, Berlin, Mexico City, Moscow, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Miami and Sydney. DHL’s sponsorship of London Fashion Week was brought to the British Fashion Council by IMG Fashion.
