Uganda:Star QT to launch its clothing line in Uganda

Intending to increase the popularity of the brand and products in Uganda, a South African apparel line and fashion label, Star QT, will introduce its brand in Kampala this August.

With this, Star QT has moved a step forward from a fashion label to an apparel line, which encompasses sports wear, beach wear, party, and corporate wear while the label range comprises of caps, hoodies, bags, t-shirts, jackets, blouses, and jeans.

The products of the brand will be showed off, in a fashion show, to attract people in Uganda of each social class and age groups. This will be the second casual collection, which is being launched officially in the market of Uganda.

This collection will compete with foreign brands such as Sean Jean, Dada, Ecco, Ecko, Fubu and Hugo Boss along with the domestic brands like Latif and Ezi. As the South African consumers are already fascinated by American fashion labels, marketing Star QT in the country is quite difficult.
