USA:LittleMissMatched launches Project Sock Design Competition

LittleMissMatched, the ground-breaking company that has revolutionized the world one sock at a time, announces the launch of the first ever "Project Sock" competition where one fan will become the next LittleMissMatched Sockitect.

The contest presents a unique opportunity for fans of all ages to become part of the design process and show the world their artistic talents. Contestants who are bursting with creative energy can enter the contest by designing a 3-pack of socks that, in true LittleMissMatched spirit, don't match.

"As a company based on creativity, we want to give our fans the chance to inject their individual spirit and creative energy into the brand. Throughout the years, we have received a constant flow of product drawings from our fans and we are excited to give them each an opportunity to submit their ideas for an upcoming collection," says Jonah Staw, CEO and co-founder of LittleMissMatched.

Innovative minds of all ages are encouraged to enter the competition - no matter the degree of background design experience. For a company founded on breaking the rules, contestants are awarded free reign with just a few restrictions.

The forefront and underlying rule of the competition is that contestants will design a pack of 3 socks - not a pair - that cannot match. However, the interpretation of non-matching socks rests with the designer - the socks can coordinate or, on the other end of the spectrum, be a pack of wildly non-related socks. Once contestants enter the competition, they will download a sock template, which they may design by hand or by using their favorite design program.

In addition to bragging rights, there is much at stake for the winner of "Project Sock." The top 24 entries will be displayed online for contestants, fans and critics alike to vote on the winning design. Not only will the winner receive a $500 cash prize but the favorite design will go into production and become part of an upcoming LittleMissMatched collection that will be sold to the public.
