Germany:Giorgio & Emporio Armani boutiques in Hamburgz

The Armani Group is pleased to announce the opening of its new Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani boutiques in Hamburg. Located on Hohe Bleichen, the new stylish shopping street in the city, the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani boutiques are side by side. Featuring two separate entrances, the two spaces mirror the individuality and personality of each brand, while the external windows project a majestic yet understated sense of elegance for which the name Armani has long been a symbol.

The Giorgio Armani boutique, covering 220 square meters on one floor, is entirely dedicated to the signature women’s and men’s apparel and accessories prêt-à-porter collections. The overarching theme here is that of an intimate personal space with wardrobes and trunks showcasing the season’s collections, where the defining material is brushed silk.

The floor, finished with beige shiny stone, creates a refined ambience. Large carpets in black linen contrast with the glossy, light coloured floor. A shiny marmorino plaster ceiling provides a dramatic yet intimate effect. Invisible recessed lights, transformed into spotlights, trace the contours or aim directly at the garments and objects on display.

The Emporio Armani store, covering over 250 square meters, offers the complete Emporio Armani lifestyle collection for men and women, including formal and casual wear, sportswear, leather accessories, watches, eyewear and jewellery collections. The store is laid out following a curved, fluid outline and uses curved screens to separate the areas. The curved walls are in black glass and bronze, silky fabric. A large video screen dominates the entrance and is clearly visible from outside, a striking feature, given the wide open expanse next to the store.

The very heart of the store is devoted to the men’s and women’s accessories department consisting of extra-clear crystal units on an island display, highlighted by a techno fabric carpet with a metallic look. The rest of the flooring is made of large tiles of glossy warm grey marble, while the ceiling, with a black techno finish, features recessed lights that accentuate the curved shape of the walls. Large backlit advertising images characterize both men’s and women’s areas while the external facade is inserted into a modern building and features five windows and two large advertising images
