USA:Uma Thurman represents Sak's Limited Shirt by Donna Karan

Saks Fifth Avenue's limited edition T-shirt created by celebrated designer Donna Karan exclusively to benefit KEY TO THE CURE is now available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH stores and on saks.com.

"Everyone I know has been affected by breast cancer one way or the other," says Uma Thurman. "It is vital that we work toward a cure as well as develop more accurate and advance testing. I am proud to be a part of KEY TO THE CURE and look forward to the day we can say breast cancer is no longer a life threat to women."

Ms. Thurman appears in a national public service announcement (PSA) wearing the Donna Karan limited edition T-shirt, shot by renowned photographer Fabrizio Ferri.

"Who better than Uma Thurman to represent this campaign?" states Donna Karan. "She's a mother and an artist and is passionate about making a difference."

"For me, it's not just about dressing women; it's about addressing the issues that are so important to all of us," says Donna Karan. "I lost my mentor Anne Klein and my best friend Lynn Kohlman to breast cancer. We've made great strides, but we still don't have a cure."

"Our clients, vendor partners, and Associates join together each year to make KEY TO THE CURE one of Saks Fifth Avenue's most successful charitable initiatives, which everyone in our organization is extremely proud of," says Steve Sadove, Chairman and CEO, Saks Fifth Avenue. "I am so pleased to add Donna Karan and Uma Thurman to the incredible list of designer and celebrity partners who have generously donated their talent and time to ensure that this program continues to make a difference in the communities we serve."

Saks Fifth Avenue initiated its charity shopping weekend in 1999. Since then, the company has donated over $33 million to women's cancer research and treatment organizations throughout the United States. Organizations benefiting from these funds include: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation; Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund; Cleveland Clinic; Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; Nevada Cancer Institute and many others.
