Trans World ties with renowned Swedish fashion icon

Trans World Holding, the owners of Dandy Mega Mall, the leading shopping destination in Egypt, announced an agreement with H&M, Hennes & Mauritz, an internationally renowned fashion retailer from Sweden, to open a new H & M store in Egypt in partnership with Mohamed Mahmoud Elshaya, a leading retail company in the Middle East.

Strategically located on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, Dandy Mega Mall has become the newest location for H & M. The new H&M store, which occupies an area of 1,600 square meters, opened its door to its customers on November 11th.

The tie-up with H & M is the latest in a series of agreements signed by Trans World Holding with a number of international retailers to open stores at Dandy Mega Mall including the renowned UK Company, Marks & Spencer.

Mr. Ahmed El Sharkawi, Vice President of Trans World Holding – the owner of Dandy Mega Mall – expressed his delight over the agreement with H&M: “This agreement is yet another indication of the unique advantages and features of Dandy Mega Mall as a leading shopping destination in Egypt that attracts international companies seeking a presence in the Egyptian market”.

Mr. El Sharkawi added: “H&M selected Dandy Mega Mall as the location for its newest store in Egypt based on the huge success achieved by the mall over the past few years, especially because it has become the natural focal point for all fashion conscious shoppers in Egypt, who are looking for the best of haute couture fashion and international lifestyle offerings”.
