Anyone with a love of fashion may want to make sure that they are in the German capital at the end of next month.
From January 20th to 23rd Berlin will be hosting its annual fashion week, showcasing autumn/winter collections from designers including Anja Gockel, Sam Frenzel and Rena Lange.
People staying in Berlin hotels in January may catch a glimpse of some of the stunning creations on display if they head down to Bebel Platz in the city's central district.
Anders Sundt Jensen, vice-president of brand communications at Mercedes-Benz cars, described the event as "very experimental, creative and inspiring".
Thousands of people flocked to the city for the fashion week in July, when the Designer for Tomorrow award was presented to an up-and-coming young professional.
Sam Frenzel walked away with the accolade five months ago and will have his own solo catwalk show in January.
Anyone who wants to attend needs to apply via the official website to receive a pass for the exclusive event.
"The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is likely to be popular," said Jess Reading, head of marketing at LateRooms. "LateRooms strongly recommends people considering attending to book hotels Berlin as soon as possible."
