Junior lifestyle apparel brand, Heart N Soul, is teaming up with shoe experts, East Lion Corporation, to add Heart N Soul Shoes to its already extensive apparel collection. “We’re really looking forward to being able to provide our customers with a complete range of options to build their look from head to toe,” said Ana Mickle, Marketing Manager of Heart N Soul.
Los Angeles based Heart N Soul has become a force to be reckoned with since its foray into the junior contemporary market in 1996. Partners and creative visionaries, Jodi Sundberg, Lars Vicklund, and Kevin Talbot, with the help of a dedicated team of designers, have developed a fun and affordable apparel line, as well as a plus line, available at mid-tier department and specialty chain stores like Kohls, Sears, JC Penney and It’s Fashion.
East Lion Corporation is a privately owned family business with 28 years of experience in the shoe industry. James Kuo and his dynamic duo, daughters, Julie and Connie, handle every aspect of their business. Julie is Vice President of East Lion Corporation and Connie is involved in design.
“Heart N Soul and East Lion Corporation are a great fit,” said Scott Miller, VP of Heart N Soul Shoes. Mick Mankowski, President SB Licensing, agreed and was instrumental in brokering the deal.
The new footwear collection is set to retail and will include flats, heels, sandals, wedges, boots and pumps in a variety of styles that will perfectly complement Heart N Soul’s apparel line with its offering moderately priced, trend focused shoes.
The new footwear collection is slated to hit stores in November. In the meantime, the collection will be showcased this August at Footprints, WSA and FN Platform.
