USA:Introduction of Bebe Sheer


bebe stores, inc. has introduced bebe SHEER, a new fragrance complementing the distinctive вЂbebe look’ that incorporates timeless quality and style with an unmistakable hint of sensuality.

“bebe SHEER has been created with the bebe woman esthetic incorporating a fresh & playful spirit with an unmistakable hint of lush florals and sensuous musk,” commented Manny Mashouf, Founder & CEO of bebe stores, inc. “This new scent captures the same seductive qualities as the bebe signature fragrance but evokes an emotion that is a little more subtle, capturing a feeling of romantic sensuality.”

Inspired by the airiness of sheer fabrics…organza, tulle and silk. The scent’s top notes of citrus cocktail, apple and green floral, mix with middle notes of peony, rose, jasmine and freesia for a soft luster of sandalwood, musk and amber. Different than the bebe Eau de Parfum, the bebe SHEER fragrance is airier, more open and brighter. The perfumers, Claudette Belnavis and Jean Jacques of Takasago, used less amber notes and added fresh, lush watery fruits. In addition, the floralcy is lighter and more transparent for a delicately sexy impression.

Drawn from the sensuous curves of the female form — the heart — will continue to be the iconic representation on the packaging of bebe fragrances. It is symbolic of the central emotion that defines the bebe woman – fashion-forward and romantically playful. She’s hip and cool, young and fresh and always the center of attention.

The pastel pink color on the bottle and box evoke a sense of femininity and the distinctive languid font on the packaging creates a new unique visual identity for the Eau de Parfum. The flirty bebe SHEER pattern adorns the secondary packaging with a window allowing a peak inside. Upon opening, the bottle is revealed…a curvaceous glass embodied by a pastel pink metal heart, debossed with the bebe logo. The pink pave crystal heart charm adorns the 100ml exclusively and a silver heart charm encircles the 50ml package. Both exquisite charms are discovered upon opening the package.

Like the signature bebe fragrance, which launched in August 2009, bebe SHEER was created, developed and is being produced by Inter Parfums, Inc., bebe’s fragrance and beauty partner. In addition to 213 bebe doors in North America, bebe SHEER will be available for sale at over 300 Dillard’s doors and approximately 350 Ulta doors. International distribution is also underway in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
